Emotional Driving project wins the EIKON award 2015

This week, the winners of the EIKON Awards 2015 were announced. An award given to the Excellence in Institutional Communication, where Gonvarri Steel Services has been recognized with the prize of best Internal Communication project. The Eikon Awards serve as a recognition of the institutional communication initiatives given out by the media specialized in Business Communication leader in Latin America. This year’s awards, celebrating its 9th edition, rewards the communication plans of any company, small and medium companies or NGOs, developed in Hispanic markets. The ceremony will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, the next 26th of October, where we will know the winners’ final positions. Other companies like Coca-Cola, Toyota, McDonald’s, Nestlé, Fiat, PepsiCo, Phillips and Google will also be present. This recognition, in Latin American markets, will join the others like the International Business Award, the PubliFestival, the Social Company and International SCR Business Award. Yesterday, Thursday 18th of June, the first IN Awards ceremony took place, organized by the biggest professional network: LinkedIn. The purpose was to reward those companies that achieved major success in its social network. 8 awards were given out in different categories, distinguishing their excellent strategies and talent management development in the construction of the employer’s brand. In the case of Gonvarri Steel Industries, LinkedIn granted them the award on Loyalty, in order to thank the client’s commitment that believed in the social network from its beginnings. Leading the Change recently participated in the 5th Conference on Corporate Online Communication focused in Mobile Apps at the Universidad Carlos III of Madrid. This Conference was held in the Aula Magna of the University last October 18. The attendees were students of this university all corporate communication lovers interested in new ways of communicating. Leading the Change wins a Silver Stevie Award

Leading The Change has been awarded with a Silver Stevie Award for Program of the Year – Internal Communications in the 10th International Business Awards. This award recognizes Leading the Change as best practice regarding internal communication with the creation of a corporate social network to be used by all the employees. This awards were created in 2002 to generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. Also these awards are the only worldwide business awards that recognize the achievements in categories such as Management, Human Resources, IT, Marketing and New Products.
